After we left Tucumcari, NM (the waitress did mention there was snow predicted!) the weather became an adventure. It was 6 pm - by 8 pm we were stopped on I-40, a truck driver shared that the freeway had closed and didn't look like it would open until 6 am :( !!! At about midnight the traffic started moving. As it turned out I-40 going East had closed but going West was still open, although the roads were treacherous we continued. We finally arrived in Albuquerque, NM at 2:30 am. It was a challenge trying to find out weather conditions - we were able to get WCCO and knew the weather in MN but not NM. Fortunately Noelle & Aaron were able to check out the weather and road conditions on the computer. Thanks guys!

Tournament Storm crossing NM on I-40
