Who would of thought?

Hey kids - look what your Dad and I are doing. Do you think we should get matching lap tops???? :)

Like my new shoe?

Friday was the day! Bunion surgery went well. The doctor said I had an extra bone - like spur the size of a small rock, along with the typical bunion - "it should have been hurting" was his comment. (and it was)
Estimate 6 - 8 weeks with this classy boot! Should stay off it for at least two weeks. That is the hard part - laying here - but Ab & Dan brought me some videos and I have a couple books and some stitching to do and of course my lap top! So all is well! Also Jeff has added a new position to sales / nurse! He is the best :) Reminds me frequently "Stay off your feet!" Love of my life - he is!

Remembering Dad - it's been 10 years - 9/23/1999

-- Jeff and I drove to Lost Lake in northern Minnesota and scattered his remaining ashes.
We had a beautiful day reminiscing--
-- Blair caught his first walleye here!
(Grandpa was probably as excited as you were!)
-- chocolate covered raisins, Bugles (the chips), feeding ducks at Silver Lake, pontoon rides on Lake 14, french fries without the skins on them:), playing Sequence & cribbage - Ask Noelle about her ice cream cone at the "Y" store:)

I'm sure the kids could add more - Dad was so proud of all of them!

Pictures from Lost Lake ---

There are "no" cabins on this lake - and Jeff only remembers catching walleyes, maybe a perch.

Paul John Fischer is "2" today! (9/17)

Time has passed so quickly but our little guy is "2" today. Trucks are big in his life along with his sister (Natalie), Mom, & Dad! He enjoys time with Grandpa in the fishing boat as well. Happy Birthday, John!
Love you,
Grandma & Grandpa

American Institute of Architects Convention

Jeff has been working for FAB-CON for just over 38 years. During this time he has worked in many of the phases from working in the plant, out in the field and since 1976 in sales. From time to time he participates in what I have coined "Home & Boat Shows" where a variety of construction services come together and share - AIA is one such event. This fall I was able to attend this with him in Fargo, ND. There is a unique comradery amongst these competitors.

AIA cont.

It is a process!

Happy 27th Birthday Abby!

Our youngest is 27 years old - isn't she beautiful!

Pictures of all "4" Grandkids!

If anyone has a secret to getting all of their attention at once - please share -- but it sure is fun having them altogether!

Grandma and Grandpa's "sweet hearts!"

John's "2nd" Birthday Party

John was just a smiley guy during his birthday celebration. We all had a great time watching him giggle and be the "center" of all our attention.

Love you John!

Sunset at Tamarack

As the sunset this Labor Day weekend - Jeff and I are very thankful for all of our blessings. Wishing everyone well!

Tamarack

We continue with the details - this weekend lattice work under the porch was added. This will be a great place to store the summer "toys."

Team Work!

Jeff & I so appreciate all our kids and their efforts in making this place "Tamarack" a peaceful retreat. Although recently there have been many projects but then we usually do take time to enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

Walleye????

We always knew there were "growing" walleyes in the lake! Ask Abby how to catch one - she is the new "fishing pro" on Esquamaha Lake

"The Fischer's out for a boat ride."

Family boat rides - brings back many fond memories - except now the kids have their kids!

Granpa's fishing buddy :)

John is a real "Fisch - er." --- and Grandpa & Dad will be there to guide.

Always a coach :)

Natalie is always ready to try and Uncle Dan is just the coach she needs!

Having fun!

Buddy always likes when Ab is around giving him some attention. She also took time to work on her wedding book.
