Lunch with friends -

Karen, Terry, & I went to visit Angie on her birthday last Thursday. Angie and Natalie share the same birth date - the 4th of March - only 57 years difference :) Angie and Terry are church friends. Angie and I also were a part of a Home Extension group several years ago. Terry and her late husband Ted were very instrumental in Jeff and I becoming very active parishioners at St. Walburga. The three of us participated in many bazaars, CCW gatherings, and quilting to mention only a few. Angie has MS but does not allow that to get in her way of living each day to the fullest. Happy Birthday Angie!

Visiting Uncle Joe & RoseMary

Jeff and I made a trip to see my Uncle and Aunt a couple weeks ago. Uncle Joe is my Dad's youngest brother and my god father. He moved to Bow String after retiring and RoseMary joined him a couple years later. He hunts, fishes, gardens and feeds all the creatures around his home. We watched as the deer came in about 4 pm to get their dinner.

Miss Natalie is 5 today!

Our princess is now a five year old. As Jeff and I reflected - this is a special time to be enjoying our grandchildren. Natalie is the oldest - I can remember just watching her sleep when she was an infant. Little did we realize what joy she was to bring - her giggles, smiles, hugs, and enthusiasm for life. I have so many pictures of Natalie it is hard to find just one special one but who can resist the twinkle in those eyes! Love you Natalie! (Brown) Grandma & Grandpa

Happy Birthday Uncle Tony!

For the last several years Jeff and I venture south sometime during the winter. My Aunt & Uncle are "snow birds" and have a room available at the "South Range Inn." On Friday the 26th Uncle Tony celebrates a birthday. We wish him well and look forward to seeing him and my Aunt Linda next month.

Warming the kitchen!

Just trying to keep the kitchen warm ----

Jeff comments that I really need to stop making that bread - since he will have to eat it - so I try to share with the kids whenever they stop by. This day I shared, all my new bread making skills that I learned, with Lauren! (yeast from the co-op is the best trick)

Making bread ----

Last fall Abby and I went to a French & focaccia bread making class. We learned a lot. This winter I am enjoying trying different bread recipes along with finding a gooey caramel roll recipe! Lauren & Noelle joined me one day to "play with the dough" :)!!! Ean helped by finding the right pan to use!
